Sony VAIO W Pink Now With Windows 7, 250GB HDD, and 6-Cell Battery

One of the biggest complain that we have on the Sony VAIO W netbook is the 3-cell battery which offers a pretty short battery life. Luckily this is no longer the case for the new version of Sony VAIO W netbook which was just released recently. In this new model, not only Sony has upgraded the netbook with Windows 7 and 250GB hard drive space, they have also increased the battery capacity to 6-cell which offers up to 6 hours of battery life!

New Pink Laptop Release: Sony VAIO CW

Sony recently released the new VAIO CW Series laptops which comes in five eye-catching, high-gloss colors: icy white, jet black, indigo purple, fiery red, and poppy pink!

The CW Series laptop features a 14-inch (diagonal) widescreen display with a 16:9 aspect ratio in a thin-and-light chassis. A perfect mix of performance and style, the CW model expresses your personality while letting you enjoy multimedia entertainment in style.


The Sony VAIO CW will come with Microsoft's new Windows 7 operating system pre-loaded, and include an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB RAM, 320GB hard drive, DVD drive, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and webcam. If you are willing to pay more than the base price, you can also customize the specs to include Blu-ray disc drive, HDMI output, and Nvidia GeForce graphics.

Sony Releases Two Tone Pink VAIO W For Breast Cancer Campaign

It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month again, and we generally see lots of pink color products popping up in this month to support the breast cancer awareness campaign. Sony as the first company in the netbook market has released a two tone pink VAIO W netbook to raise money for the cause. There will also be a matching carry case and mouse that comes together with the netbook. And besides netbook, Sony is also releasing a pink eReader as part of the campaign. Both products will be available until the end of October, which Sony plans to donate $110,000 of the profits to charity.

The Sony VAIO VPC-W111XX pink netbook is sleek and stylish. In terms of design, the girly outlook of this netbook will definitely appeal to most female user out there. In terms of specs, it is quite standard: 10.1-inch screen, 1.66GHz Intel N280 Atom Processor, 1GB of RAM, and 160GB HDD. The only difference is the 1366 x 768 screen resolution that's higher than most other 10-inch netbook.

Sony Japan to Release Corcodile Skin Vaio C Laptops - Check out Pink Crocodile!

Sony Japan is going to release their Sony Vaio C series laptops in a unique crocodile skin design. Apparently, Sony is targeting the stylish folks out there who want their laptop to match their style with this new design. It will be available in 3 colors: red, brown, and pink.


Check out the pink pink crocodile.. If you love pink laptops, you probably are high on fashion. And the pink crocodile with high fashion design might be the pink laptop that you have been looking for!


The laptop casing does look like genuine leather, but it is actually made using plastic that contains a textured pattern to simulate fake crocodile skin. The official model numbers for these laptops are VGN-CS92JS, VGN-CS92DS, and VGN-CS92XS, and they will be available on April 18th in Japan. Price will be around for $1,024 (104,800Y).

Sony to Release P Series Netbook

Sony is finally planning to release a netbook of its own. The netbook from the Sony VAIO brand will be categorized under a new product line called the P-series.


The P-series VAIO netbook will have an 8-inch LED backlit with a resolution of 1600 x 768, according to the previous leaked information from SonyStyle.com (the product page has been removed now). Will the new Sony netbook avaialble in pink? We won't know until the official product release on 09-Jan in the CES 09 event. But looking at most of other Sony VAIO laptop models, it's highly possible Sony will make the P-series netbook to be available in pink!
