Concept: In the age of information technology, virtual interaction via various forms of digital message exchange have rendered the physical presence of the interacting persons of a somewhat irrelevance. Smartphone, with its mobility and friendly-user interface, opens the possibility for self-directed, spontaneous and personal filmic project. This mini project explores both the type of filmic production that the smartphone offers and this phenomenon of virtual interaction. Synopsis: In the same nature that one travels to the countryside for its serenity and proximity to nature, one enters the city for its noises and diversity of man-made artifacts. Both offer sensorial experiences of their own respective environment. The protagonist tries to put an end to his grievance for the death of a cherished someone through this journey that the cherished one always wanted to go on - visiting the city. He films the excursion and he interacts with the smartphone whereby it becomes the virtual entity of the cherished one. In this manner, he fulfills her final wish: completing the journey together.
