The Dawning of the Digital Age | SmartPhone

We have entered into a new era: the era of digitization. You can see the changes happening all nearby us -people walking down the sidewalk paying more concentration to their cell phones than to the road signs, billboards and even the citizen they are walking with. Ipods and kindles have captivated our time spent on trains and planes, while iPhones and androids sweep up what remaining time we have in between meetings and while commercials while we watch our popular Tv shows. Our generation has industrialized an concentration span that is continually decreasing, as we find more and more ways to download facts that we seek, and faster than ever before.
As creatures of curiosity, we have since the dawn of man, searched to find answers. Answers to questions like: why are we here? What does the hereafter hold? Is there a god? The crusade for truth is what drives the human spirit, and the chase of knowledge is what keeps our souls alive. What would you do if you could no longer ask questions?
Our brains are a leech to new information, and there seems to be no limit on the whole of input we can absorb. As a result, we continue to upload data into our internal processors every waking second. The only limiting factor is how swiftly we can way new, meaningful content, which captures our attention. 15 years ago, magazines, newspapers and paper back books were our only means of uploading information. This commonly required a trip to the bookstore or newsstand. Today, we have smartphones, iPads, and laptops, which can instantly deliver the article we are seeking in the blink of an eye.
About SmartPhone
It's no inexpressive that print is dying. My subscription to the New York Times is now no more than a doormat to my apartment, and what few magazines I unmistakably do own seem to work best as coasters on my coffee table than as a source of principal information. Why should I care about news articles written last week, or even last night if I can find articles written 2 hours ago or even 2 minutes ago on my mobile phone? It's hard for me to see a hereafter for the print industry, yet still, citizen seem to blindly believe there will all the time be a newspaper at their front door in the morning when they wake up.

I predict that in the next few years, we will see the end of the print age. The newspaper clubs will no longer be able to compete with the cost of digital news sources and will whether have to convert over, or go belly up. Magazines clubs are next in line, followed by printing clubs and anyone else who delivers article which you can tear in half or use to start a fire. We naturally no longer have the time, the money, nor the desire to allocate to slower sources of information. Our lives are too short, and our patience is wearing thin.
