The Pink Zune (30GB) - A Girl's Dream Come True

The Pink Microsoft Zune's 30 GB capacity can be used to store music tracks and pictures. It provides up to 14 hours of music playback. This multimedia player features a large 3" LCD video screen. You can wirelessly share full length music tracks, play lists and pictures directly from Zune to Zune.

The Microsoft Zune has very good playback performance of audio, video, and photos. It has an intuitive and colorful interface and a good FM radio with RDS. The pink Zune also works well with Zune Marketplace software. It has integrated wireless that allows sharing of songs (limited) and photos plus many accessories available when it was launched launch.

The downside is that the Microsoft Zune is not backward compatible with WMA-DRM9. It also has a weak native video support (cannot play protected content) and no video offerings from Zune Marketplace. You cannot be use it as a hard drive (and it has no UMS support). It also includes a proprietary USB, and you cannot use Wi-Fi to sync, stream, or purchase content. There are minimal bundled accessories so you are sure to spend more if you want to accessorize. There's no podcast directory and the maximum capacity is 30GB.

The Microsoft Zune, with its intuitive interface and solid playback performance, will please most girls especially with the pink color it is in now. But lukewarm format support and the cool but limited Wi-Fi capability will have advanced users seeking more. The Zune is a very good start, though.
